Laura Diane Daniel

Mrs. Laura Diane Daniel, 73, of Hoover, AL passed away on July 5, 2020. Diane was a graduate of Phillips High School and was a faithful member of Hunter Street Baptist Church. She wrote and taught numerous bible studies, was a member of the adult choir and senior choir, and established the single adult ministry. She worked for 35 years at Southern Research Institute in progressive leadership positions, retiring in 2010. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and being a faithful partner.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Laura Denton.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Daniel; and nephews, David R. Daniel and Tom H. Daniel.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, AL. The funeral service will begin at 11:00am from the funeral home chapel with Pastors Barry Daniel and Brian Hinton officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Hunter Street Baptist Church Senior Ministry.
