Larry Awtrey

Mr. Larry Awtrey, of Hoover, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013, at the age of 66. Larry was owner-operator of Larry Awtrey Construction Company and ALAHAN Homes. He is preceded in death by his son, Tucker Awtrey, and his mother, Mildred Darden Awtrey. He is survived by his daughter, Christina Awtrey Weaver (Jeff); son, Dustin Awtrey (Angie); 3 grandchildren, Hannah, Alexandra, and Camden; his father, Al Awtrey; his sister, Donna Trapp (Sid); and his brother, Russell Awtrey. The family will receive friends from 2-4, Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral service will be 1 PM, Monday, October 7, 2013, in the funeral home chapel, Pastor David Awtrey officiating. Interment will be in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.
