Kymberly Ashley

of Pelham, passed away at the age of 37. She was a graduate of Pelham High School in 1989 and was a veteran of the US Army where she served in Desert Storm. Kym was a member of Cross Creek Baptist Church in Pelham. She is survived by a son, Jordan Ashley of Pelham, AL; a daughter, Rayna Durall of New Iberia, LA; her parents, Nathaniel and Jemel Hatcher of Pelham; two brothers, Jeremy and Nathan Hatcher both of Pelham; three uncles, Jerry, Ronnie and Jimmy McMillan; three great aunts, Ramona Hardwick, Nellie Anderson and Lillie Ward. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 14, 2009 from 1-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Dr. Jay Kieve officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Garden, South.
