Kristen Sanders

Kristen Battle Sanders, passed away June 9, 2022 at her home. Kristen was born August 26, 1973 in Fairfield, Alabama to Donald and Karen Battle.  Kristen graduated from Berry High School and the University of Montevallo, where she earned a Master's Degree in Education. She loved the beach, swimming, all animals, and loved to help feed the homeless. She attended Destiny Worship Center in Panama City Beach, Florida. Kristen was a school teacher for more than 20 years.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Noel “Tripp” Sanders of 6 years, her two daughters, Anna Green and Tamara Thompson, two sons, Zack Green and Garrett Sanders her parents, Donald and Karen Battle and her grandchildren, Sydney Sanders, Callie Shugru and Jaxon Sanders. Kristen is also survived by her brothers, Donald Battle Jr. (Amilia) and Brian Battle (Amanda) as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 15th beginning at 11:00 am followed with a Chapel Service at 1:00 PM with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hoover, Alabama.
