Kevin Kuykendall

KUYKENDALL, KEVIN, of Vestavia, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2008, at the age of 42. He graduated from Athens Bible School and attended Florida College. He received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from UAB and his MBA from Samford. He was a member of Vestavia Hills Church of Christ and was an avid Alabama fan who loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth “Frilly” Kuykendall, and his sister, Kerri Swanson. He is survived by his father, Ken Kuykendall and stepmother, Charlene Kuykendall of Birmingham; niece, Kendall Swanson of Atlanta; two uncles, Wayne Kuykendall (Allison) of Athens, and Rob Loeffler of Ohio; two aunts, Frances Owen of Athens and Yvonne Wilkinson-Geran (Tim) of Maryland; and several cousins and other family members. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM, Monday, December 15, 2008, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, Harold Comer and Jason Cicero officiating. Interment will be in Southern Heritage Cemetery.
