Kerri Swanson

of Birmingham, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2007, at the age of 37. She was a graduate of Vestavia High School and had degrees from Florida College, University of South Florida and MTSU. She was a member of Vestavia Hills Church of Christ. Kerri was a devoted mother and beloved daughter. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth "Frilly" Kuykendall. She is survived by a daughter, Kendall Swanson; her father, Ken Kuykendall and step-mother, Charlene Kuykendell of Vestavia; a brother, Kevin Kuykendall; an uncle, Wayne Kuykendall (Allison) of Athens; an aunt, Frances Owen of Athens; and several cousins and other family members. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 5, 2007, from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends on Tuesday, March 6, 2007, from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at Vestavia Hills Church of Christ with funeral service to follow at 10:30 am at the church.
