Kenneth Walls

Mr. Kenneth "K.C." Walls, II, of Hoover, formerly of West Virginia, went to meet his Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the age of 59. He graduated from Marshall University and West Virginia University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked in the coal business for the past 38 years, and was currently employed with Warrior Investment, Inc. He was a loving husband and father who enjoyed working with his hands and gardening. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jeannie; a son, Kent and his wife, Jana; a daughter, Sarah and her fiancee, Kevin McCroskey; his mother, Mary Walls; a brother, Val Walls and wife, Arna; and his K9 companion, Addi. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 22, 2012 from 1 to 2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Brian Erickson officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Playground Fund for FUMCA Preschool, P.O. Box 206, Alabaster, AL 35007.
