of Brookwood, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2007, at the age of 26. He was preceded in death by his father, Kendell Sexton, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Cindy Sexton of Prudes Creek; a sister, Amber Nicole Sexton of Pelham; a niece, Lillian Rae Sexton; his grandmother, Maxine Ethridge of Prudes Creek; his grandfather, Kenneth Sexton (Patsy) of Alabaster; 5 uncles, 8 aunts and many cousins. Kendell was known by, and answered to many names; Kendell Jr., J.R., K.J., Bubba, and son. On February 10, 2007, Kendell's name was called by his Heavenly Father, "Son, come home." Kendell's life dream was to be a collegiate wrestler and win national titles. Because of a hand injury, that dream was not fulfilled. Kendell was so proud of his name, his beautiful blue eyes, Florida winning the National Championship and of Lily. Kendell loved his family very much and found happiness and peace being with all of them, especially after the death of his "Dad." To Chris and Tommy and Barrett - Thank you! Son, we love you.
