of Prudes Creek, passed away March 7, 2005 at the age of 47. He was a member of Prudes Creek Baptist Church. Kendell graduated from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale, with a B.S. Degree in Industrial Technology and Design. He also had several Associate Degrees. He was a USAF veteran with 10 1/2 years of service, and he had worked for Alagasco for the past 15 years in the Technical Service Department Kendell always had something to tell you. He entertained everyone with his personality, old jokes, chuckle laughter and knowledge of all things (especially technical). He had many passions, and one was for wrestling. There were no gray areas in his life. Kendell held his family, above all, closest to his heart. He never grew tired of saying or hearing "I love you". Bubba, we will miss you. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Sexton, of Prudes Creek; one son, Kendell R. Sexton, Jr., of Hoover; one daughter, Amber N. Sexton, of Hoover; one granddaughter, Lillian Rae Sexton; his mother, Shirley Sexton, of McCalla; his father, Kenneth Sexton (Patsy), of Alabaster; three brothers, J. Timothy Sexton (Cheryl) of Pembroke, GA, Bobby D. Sexton (Angela), of Alabaster and Michael E. Sexton (Sherri), of Hoover; two sisters, Kendra Slagle (Harry), of Alabaster and Heather Speagle (Rodney), of McDonough, GA; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 10, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral service will be Friday, March 11, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. John Reed officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
