beloved son of James and Cheryl Gracien passed away unexpectedly in Destin, FL on Sunday, February 10, 2008. He was born November 3, 1985, in Destin, Florida. He moved to Birmingham, AL, in 1987. He was a graduate of Vestavia High School in 2003. He worked for Superior Marine, out of LA. His compassion and big heart touched the lives of many over the years and made a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Kelsey's love of music was his greatest passion. He is survived by his loving and devoted parents, James and Cheryl Gracien; brother, Gabriel David Gracien; sister, Marleigh Faye Gracien; Grandparents, Walter Nettles and Faye Nettles, Destin, FL; Grandfather, Nick Gracien, OK; Uncles, Ken Nettles, Brad R. Nettles, Destin; Uncles, Steve Gracien, SC, Don Gracien, MS. and Frank Pavelski, MA; Aunt, Karen Whited, Uncle, Stanley D. Boggan, Jr.; Great-grandmother, Flossie Creel, Jemison; Aunts, Debbie Hughes and Dawn Farley, Montavllo; cousins; and a host of caring friends. He was proceeded in death by Grandmother, Elaine Lois Christian. A visitation and memorial service will be held on Friday, February 15, 2008, 4:30-6:30 PM, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hoover AL. Brother William I. Jackson will preside over the service. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2008 from 9-11 AM. Burial will follow immediately in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
