Kathy Roland

of Dothan, left us to live with Jesus Christ our Savior and to be reunited with loved ones in Heaven after a valiant battle with cancer on Friday, August 31, 2007, at the age of 49. She leaves behind those of us who love her most, a son, Bobby Roland (Christina) of Hoover; her mother, Vernell Calton (Lee) of Vestavia Hills; her father, Jack Lelton Roland (Nancy) of Gardendale; brothers, Jack " Bubba" Roland of West Blockton and friend John; sisters, Glenice Jones (Randal) of Aliance, AL, and Nina Lenard (Aaron) of Elberta, AL.; and other important family members. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007, from 10 a.m. to 12 at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mack Farley, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
