June Howe

June O'Neill Howe,age 77, of Hoover, AL went to be with her Lord Jesus on Tuesday, June 22, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Robert Howe; her sister Peggy Howe of Raleigh, NC; her aunt Lucille Stewart of Homewood; her daughter, Pony Thompson of Hoover; her sons, Roger Howe of Whitewright, TX and Ross Howe of Oneonta; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The great interest in June's life was the work of the Gideons Ladies Auxillary of which she served as President. In lieu of flowers, the family request gifts be made to The Gideons International. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Friday.
