Joyce Moore

Joyce Moore, of Hoover, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at the age of 86.  A graduate of Howard College, Joyce taught English for 30 years.  She was a member of Huffman Baptist Church and taught Sunday School.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ora Bell and Ernest Scott Moore, and her son, Donnie Scott Moore.  She is survived by her brother, Jerry D. Moore (Amy); her aunt, Nila McHale; her nieces, Cecilia Miller (Bill) and Angie Cleveland (Jay); her nephew, Steve Moore (Sandy); and many cousins.
The family will receive friends from 12-1, Saturday, October 19, 2019, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home.  Graveside will follow at 2:00 at Forest Hill Cemetery, Rev. Larry Smith officiating.
