our Angel on earth was called home, March 19, 2008, at the age of 21. Josh loved life, his friends and family. He enjoyed motorcross, hunting, fishing, Alabama football and coaching his little league team at McAdory. He was a 2004 graduate of McAdory High School where he was a member of the baseball team. His loving spirit will live on through his great friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, H. Hoyt Sellers; and his great grandfathers, Wilbur Newell and W.H. Martin. He is survived by his parents, Mark and Bari Wallace; a brother, Matthew Wallace; a sister, Jenna Wallace, all of McCalla; his grandparents, Wayne and Carole York of Hueytown, Betty Wallace of McCalla, and Stinson and Vene Wallace of West Blocton; great grandmothers, Clara Newell of Hueytown, Peggy Martin of Bessemer, and Bernice York of Hueytown; uncles, Kevin Sellers (Kristy) of Greenwood, Keith Wallace of Brookwood and Shawn Wallace (Paige) of West Blocton; aunt, Tera York of Hueytown; cousins, Jessica and Steven Sellers, Alexa Meggs, Kristal Helton (Josh) and their children, MacKenzie and new baby boy to be; and a host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 25, 2008, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Trinity Life Church in Bessemer. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with Dr. J. Scott Moore officiating. Entombment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Joshua B. Wallace family at First Financial Bank, McCalla.
