Joshua Edgerton

Mr. Joshua L. "Edge" Edgerton, age 28, of Pelham, AL, passed away August 3, 2011. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Pelham. He loved Alabama football and his fantasy football friends. He also loved his Sunday school class. He worked for the City of Homewood Parks & Recreation Department. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Frances Harper, grandparents, Nadie Lee & Melvin Ross Eagy, and "De-Da" and Homer Ezell, great grandmother, "Big Mama" Marshall, and an aunt, Lawanna Brown. He is survived by his parents, Freddy and Jane Edgerton, a sister, Loriahn Harden (Brent), a very special nephew, Levi Harden, who dearly loved his "Ja-Ja", a host of friends, and extended family. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 6, 2011, from 11-1PM at First Baptist Church of Pelham, AL. The service will follow at 1PM at the church with Dr. Mike Shaw officiating. Interment will be in Southern Heritage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Bryant Bank in Joshua's name, 2721 John Hawkins Parkway, P.O. Box 361707, Hoover, AL 35236.
