Josephine Turner

of Pelham, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2005 at the age of 82. She was a devoted wife of 57 years to the late J. W. Turner. Ms. Turner was a loving and caring mother and grandmother to all her children and grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, James W. Turner, of Santa Clara, CA, Russell Turner (Linda), of Pelham, and Albert A. Turner (Sally), of Hoover; one daughter, Betty Zyung, of Wood River, IL; six grandchildren, Geoff and Eric Zyung, Seth and Rita K. Turner, Nicholas and Lesley Turner; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Anna Messick, of Houston, TX, Eva Maurer, of Troy, IL, and Jackie Starr, of Fairmont City, IL. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19, 2005 from 4 until 6 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2005 at 2.00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
