Josephine Musso

of Birmingham, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2005, at the age of 94. Her true joys in life were her God, family and friends. She was a vibrant, spirit-filled person, who enjoyed people. God's love was shown through her smile and gentle-caring ways. Our lives were strongly influenced by her quiet love and selflessness. As head of our family, she was most beloved, our dearest treasure. Our lives are richer because she was our Mother. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a good friend to many. She will be truly missed more than our hearts can ever express. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Musso. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Jo Lorino (Joseph); three sons, Vincent J. "Butch" Musso (Brenda) of Birmingaham,AL, Frank J. Musso (Provie) of Daphne, AL and Johnny Musso (Tanner) of Hinsdale, IL; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2005, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church, with a wake service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2005, also at the church, with Msgr. Paul Rohling officiating. Our family expresses sincere appreciation to all her care-givers, especially, Doreatha Taylor, Corteshia Wilson and Robin Oglesby.
