Joseph Steele

age 86, of Hoover, passed away April 20, 2007. Mr. Steele was born June 3, 1920 in Birmingham, AL. He was veteran of WWII, retired from US Steel, and a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church. His greatest joy and accomplishment was his faithfulness and commitment to his family. Mr. Steele is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce McBride Steele; a son, Andy Steele (Sue); a daughter, Lisa Williams (Al); and 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Rush (Jody), Stuart Williams, Daniel Steele, and Amy Steele. A memorial service will be held at 3:30, Sunday, April 22, 2007 at the Briarwood Presbyterian Church chapel. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
