Joseph Grill

Joe Grill, of Alabaster, Al, entered the heavenly kingdom of our Lord Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Joe was the beloved husband of Joyce Grill for 64 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louie Grill; his mother, Stella Grill; four brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by his children, Randy Grill (Cathy), Sandra Grill Beans (Mel), Karen Grill Reeves (Colby) and David Grill (Michelle). He leaves behind eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Joe was a graduate of Montevallo High School. Following his US Navy military service, he enrolled in Auburn University where he became an honor student in the College of Engineering. Joe retired from Alabama Power where he was employed as an Electrical Engineer.

A Military Graveside Service for Joe will be Monday, January 23 at 1:15 at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Auburn University College of Engineering, or to the Big Oak Ranch.
