Joseph Denoux, Jr

Mr. Joseph Vincent Denoux, Jr, age 92, of Hoover, AL, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011. He was born in New Orleans, LA, and retired US Navy. He was a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his wives, Adelaide Morgavi Denoux and Ann Agnello Denoux, his parents, Joseph and Celeste Denoux, and two brothers, Ferdi Denoux and Henry A. Denoux. He is survived by his daughter, Gwen Denoux Skinner, his God child, Brenda Petho, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family wishes to express a sincere thanks to all of "Pappa Joe's" caregivers. A Funeral Mass will be Friday, June 24, 2011, at 6:00 PM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father John Fallon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Shelby County Humane Society, Prince of Peace Catholic Church Building Fund of Hoover, AL, or Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
