of Helena, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2008, at the age of 77. A loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, he was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. He was employed for over fifty years with the Pizitz family, most recently with Gus Mayer. He was also a member of Montmarte Dance Club. Mr. Campanotta was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Mary Campanotta, brother Felix Campanotta, and sister Josephine Montabana. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rosalie Tortomasi Campanotta; a son, Joey (Linda) Campanotta; daughters, Rosemary (Joey) Gagliano, Leigh Ann (Tony) Honeycutt, and Theresa (Frank) Mareno; grandchildren, Joseph (Yuliya) Gagliano, Ashley (Brian) Steinert, Gina, Natalie, Chris Campanotta, Patrick Honeycutt, Maria Gagliano, Christina and Frankie Mareno; a brother, Nick Campanotta; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 21, 2008, from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hoover, Alabama. The Vigil Service will be at the church on Monday at 7 p.m.. The Funeral Mass will be at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
