John Wolfinger, Jr

Mr. John Phillip Wolfinger, Jr., of Hoover, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011, at the age of 86. He is preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Joan Wolfinger. He is survived by two sons, John Phillip Wolfinger, III of Lyle, WA, and David Wolfinger (Cindy) of Marietta, GA; four grandchildren, Hope Wolfinger Wright (Mark), Jack Wolfinger, Miranda Wolfinger, and Joseph Wolfinger; great granddaughter, Polly Wolfinger; stepson, S. Wesley Teague, III (Margaret); two stepdaughters, Susan Teague and Joy Kaltenbach (David); and a stepgrandson, Samuel Wesley Teague, IV. The family will receive friends from 9:30 - 10:30 AM, Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. A graveside service will follow at 10:30 AM in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, Jim Profetto officiating.
