John Weaver

of Hoover, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2007, at the age of 81. He was an active member of Hunter Street Baptist Church and was retired from Allied Signal Chemical. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janis F. Weaver; a brother, Mark Weaver (Midge) of Saraland, AL; a sister, Dean Coker (Jack) of Meridian, MS; seven nieces and six nephews; a mother-in-law, Ila Fowler of Fayette, AL; and a brother-in-law, Bo Winborne of Ramer, AL. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 11, 2007, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Chris Sullivan officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson-Memorial Gardens, South.
