John Bellsnyder

of Birmingham, who fought a long courageous battle with cancer, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2007, at the age of 60. He attended Shades Valley High School. Mr. Bellsnyder was a long time barber in the Birmingham area and was the owner of Spectrum Hair Studio. He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Jane Bellsnyder; two daughters, Sally Ann and Ellen Marie Bellsnyder, both of Birmingham; a step-daughter, Adrienne Steading of Atlanta; and a brother, Charles R. Bellsnyder, Jr. of Birmingham. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 7, 2007, from 2:00 until 3:30 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3:30 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, with Pastor Richard Brooks officiating. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
