John Baxter

BAXTER, JOHN DANIEL “DAN,” of Alabaster, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009, at the age of 49. He was a graduate of UTHS in East Moline, Illinois and of Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. Dan was a long time member and elder at CrossBridge Church. For 25 years he was employed by EDS. Dan loved His Lord, his family, and friends. He loved music, sports and coaching. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brooke Jordan Baxter, and his father, John C. Baxter. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dana K. Baxter; daughters Hannah Danielle Hinojosa (Robert) and Sarah Kristen Baxter; mother, Merle Jean Baxter; sister, Brenda Beard (Bill); and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 11, 2009, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, at CrossBridge Church. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the church, Dr. Garry Brantley officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
