Johanna Guenther

of Birmingham, was a Godly woman who went to be with her heavenly father on Friday, February 17, 2006, at the age of 96. She was a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Louis Guenther. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Doug) Hill; granddaughters, Denise and Lauren Hill; special caregiver and angel, Inell Lawrence; and special angels, Lekisha, Deborah, Debora, Sheila and Bettie. Also, the family would like to extend special thanks to New Beacon Hospice and the staff at St. Martin's in the Pines. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at 3 p.m.in the St. Martin's in the Pines Assisted Living Chapel, Rev. Katy Smith officiating. The family requests donations be made to St. Martin's in the Pines Pastoral care.
