Joe Muncher

Mr. Joe William Muncher, 75, of Hoover, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2012 in Franklin NC. He was a Navy veteran and served during the Korean War. He was a current member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church and a former member of Bluff Park Baptist Church. He was a member of the Alabama Mineral and Lapidary Society and also the Franklin Gem and Mineral Society in Franklin NC. He was preceded in death by his brother Fred M. Muncher. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Ina Raye Muncher; three children, David Muncher (Regina), Terry Muncher (Sara) and Natalie Baugh (Sam); seven grandchildren, Brandi Starr, Christi Nilsen, Rachael and Daniel Baugh, Will, Rebekah and Riley Muncher; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Ina Scott and Cindy Wester; several nieces nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 1 pm until 2 pm at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with the service to begin at 2 pm in the chapel. Interment will be in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
