Joe Mullins

Joe Mullins, of Hoover, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015, at the age of 82. He was a long time member of Hunter Street Baptist Church and West Hills Lions Club. Joe was retired from Shell Oil Company. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Mullins and Cecelia Mullins Reid; and his sister, Frances Gamble.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margie Mullins; daughter, Cindy Graham (Lane); grandchildren, Jennifer Graham Hart (Nathan), Jonathan Graham and Johanna Graham.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM. Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Hunter Street Baptist Church. Funeral will follow at 2 PM in the church chapel, Dr. Buddy Gray and Rev. Brian Hinton officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hunter Street Baptist Church or the American Heart Association.
