Joe Dwyer

of Hoover, died peacefully at home on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the age of 82. He was born to Cora (Voisinet) and Denis Dwyer. He was an Eagle Scout and proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his loving wife, Margie; his children, Mary Jo Goodman (Gerald), Dan Dwyer, Kathy Moore (Ricky) and David Dwyer (Zoe); 8 grandchildren, Melissa (Nick), Danielle, Will, Joseph, Molly, Margaret, Mary Ingalls and Aaron Joseph; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Gerry and brother, Jack. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 9 to 10 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM with Father Henry McDaid officiating. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
