Joanne Johnson

of Birmingham, passed away, Wednesday, December 7, 2005. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church where she was active in her Sunday School class. An enormous Auburn Football fan, Joanne was loved by many people and had a tremendous impact on their lives. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Edd R. Johnson; 2 sons, Eddie Johnson III (Debbie), and Benny Johnson; her grandchildren, Angie, Jennie & Lindsay Johnson; a brother, Joe Romano; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Lucy. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 8, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral services will be on Friday, December 9, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mike McLemore officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
