Joan Hesselbacher

Ms. Joan "Jodi" Beckers Hesselbacher, of Hoover, passed away at a local hospital on Monday, February 28, 2011, at the age of 56. She is preceded in death by her father, James Earl Beckers. She is survived by her mother, Juanita Holloway Colbert of Hoover; two brothers, Randy Beckers (Sharon) of Rockville, MD, and Steve Beckers (Caroline); nephew, Michael Beckers of Gulf Shores; and loving cousins from Birmingham, Nashville, and North Carolina. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM, Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. A funeral service will follow at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel, Rev. David Holloway officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
