Joan Edwards

Joan Shirley Lange Edwards, age 92, of Hanceville, formerly of Birmingham, died on September 11, 2020 at Hanceville Nursing Home and Rehab. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen F. Edwards;  two sisters and one brother.

Mrs. Edwards was born in Wisconsin and resided in Birmingham most of her life. She had lived in Hanceville the past ten years. She was a member of the Baptist Faith and was a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter; Carol A. Clark (Rick); two sons; Frankie Edwards (Margot) and Bruce Edwards (Joanna); six grandchildren; Amanda Sims, Brannon Clark, Sam Edwards, Jillian  Alldredge, Jason Edwards, and Brian Edwards; four great grandchildren; Brody Clark, Casey Sims, Hannah Edwards, and Fitzjoseph Alldredge.

A Graveside Service  will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 12 noon at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Hoover with Dudley Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, AL.
