Jimmy Johnson

Jimmy Dee Johnson, 70, passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 27th. A resident of Helena, AL he was born in Meridian, MS to the late Stewart Ellis Sr and Catherine Cobb Johnson.

Jimmy was preceded to heaven by his parents and brother David Michael Johnson.

He is survived by his beloved wife Vicky; daughter Jennifer (John); grandchildren Sam and Hank McGavock; brother Stewart Jr. (Martha); sister Ruth Grammer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a loving husband, father grandfather, and brother. If you knew him you loved him. He was very passionate about his family and loved spending time with them. He was an active member of Harmony Church of Helena.

The family will receive friends and family from 12:00 until 1:00 on April 1st with a celebration of his life immediately following at Harmony Church of Helena, 3396 Helena Road Helena, AL 35080.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to his favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
