Jimmy Brasher

Mr. Jimmy Lee Brasher, of Hoover, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012, at the age of 72. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Eleanor Sansing Brasher; 3 sons, Jay Brasher (Terry), Mike Brasher (Susan), and Gary Brasher; a daughter, Tammy White (Todd); 2 step-daughters, Sherri Horton (Buck) and Kelli Smitherman (David); 7 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; his mother, Mary Robinson; his sister, Ann Mims (Herbert); and his brother, Charles Brasher (Brenda). The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM, Tuesday, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. A graveside service will follow at 2 PM in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Children's Hospital.
