Jimmie Turquitt

passed away Thursday, September 7, 2006, at the age of 65 in Leesburg Hospital, Leesburg, FL. He is survived by a daughter, Jamie Turquitt, whereabouts unknown; two brothers, Osbye Turquitt and Mike Turquitt, both of Bessemer; three sisters, Doris Ready, of Oak Grove, OR, Olga Kioushifes, of Munster, IN, and Patricia Chance, of Bessemer; ten nephews and nine nieces, and his Pleasant Valley Church family. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 14, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 15, 2006 at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. H. Doss officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
