Jesse Stubbs

of Pelham, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at the age of 91. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Christine; three daughters, Patricia Stubbs of Miami, FL, Susan Henry of Birmingham, AL, and Paula Toole of Pelham, AL; a grandson, Bruce Henry (Rose Wade) of Tuscaloosa, AL. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 15, 2008 from 6-7:30 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Chapel service will follow at 7:30 PM in the funeral home chapel. The family also will receive friends on Sunday, August 17, from 1-2:15 PM at Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church in Statesboro, GA. A service will follow at 2:30 PM in the church. Interment will be in Bulloch Memorial Gardens in Statesboro, GA. In lieu of lowers, the family request donations be made to Odyssey Hospice or Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church.
