Jesse Jones

MR. Jesse Matthew Jones, of Bessemer, went to be with the Lord, Friday, October 29, 2010, at the age of 81. He was a member of Raimund Heights Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Mr. Jones was a Mason and served in the US Navy. He was retired from TCI Steel Mill. He is preceded in death by three sisters, Pat Laird, Dot Latham, and Jean Farrell; three brothers, Thomas Jones, Clay Jones, and Jake Jones. He is survived by his wife, Faye Bailey Jones; and his sister, Nancy J. Rosser. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 AM, Monday, November 1, 2010, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM in the funeral home chapel, Rev. Tommy Chesser officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
