Jerry Thrasher

January 6, 1940 — May 16, 2017

Jerry C. Thrasher, of Hoover, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at the age of 77. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, nephew, and friend.

He is preceded in death by former wife, Ruby Thrasher; son, Lucien Dion; daughter, Alice Hatley; brothers, John, Roy, and Troy; sister, Jean Bennett. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Louise B. Thrasher; daughters, Darlene T. Glenn (Thomas) and Mary Ann Dion; 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Julia Weems, Lydia Marohn (Buster), and Brenda Heisler (Jay); and many beloved friends and family members.

The family will receive friends from 10-11, Friday, May 19, 2017, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. Service will follow in the chapel at 11:00, Thomas Glenn officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
