Jerry Fuller

Our beloved Jerry Lee Fuller, 73, of Birmingham left this earth to be with his heavenly Father February 16th, 2013 after a heroic battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents Rupert and Nell Fuller and grandson Austin Lee Patzke. A devoted family man, Jerry is survived by Dorothy, his loving wife of 53 years, son Jeff (Rhonda), and daughters Wendy Dean (Barry), Susan Smith, and April Patzke (Mike); grandchildren Katelyn and Rachel Fuller; Greg and Courtney Dean; Summer Smith, and Mattie and Sydney Patzke, sister-in-law Doris Ethridge (Bentley) and their four children David, Diane, Brian, and Clay. He was a graduate from West End H.S., Auburn University and the U.S Army Command and General Staff College and a Brother of the Buck Creek Masonic Lodge #410. A retiree from the U.S. Army Reserve, U.S. Steel, and the Hoover School Transportation System, he loved spending time with family and took great pride in all things related to his grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 19th at 11AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home with service to follow at 1PM. The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to Vitas Hospice Care and Birmingham Oncology Group at Brookwood Hospital.
