Jerry Brasher

BRASHER, JERRY HOUSTON 74, of Thorsby, passed away on August 14, 2013, in Randolph. He was born on April 31, 1939, in Birmingham, son of the late Houston Y. Brasher and the late Velma Hollis Brasher. He was a retired manager of Synergy/Coast Gas in Jemison, AL. Surviving are his son, Jerry D. (Tam) Brasher of Meridian, MS; daughter, Christy (Dale) Pate of Randolph; honorable daughter, Dana Smith of Jemison; 5 granddaughters, 1 great granddaughter; brother-in-law, Douglas (Brenda) Ginn of Altoona. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ginn Brasher; his parents, Houston and Velma Brasher; and his sister, Beatrice Kendrick. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Currie-Jefferson funeral Home Hwy 150 Hoover. Funeral service will be 2 PM, Friday, August 16, 2013, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Mars Hills Cemetery.
