Jeff had a passion for the great outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and kayaking until limited by mobility and chronic pain issues later in life. He loved to feed and watch birds, monitor his bluebird houses, grow tomatoes on his back deck and tinker with his trucks. For many years Jeff's constant companions were his beloved springer spaniels Harley, Shaker and Katie Bug. His favorite mantra was “Roll Tide”! He was an avid NASCAR fan.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Russell, his mother, Opal, his brother, Phil and his three devoted dogs. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth (Liz) Watson Hester (Ken); cousins Darrell Bolyard, Denise Bruno and Lisa Bruno; sister in law Janice Watson; nephews Drew and Matt Watson; and numerous extended family and friends. A special thanks to Jeff’s neighbors Ronald (Star) and LaDonna Jemison for their friendship, compassion and support.
