Jeff Bass

Mr. Jeff Bass, age 30, of Pelham, passed on to Heaven on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. He was employed as a systems administrator for seven years at Blue Cross Blue Shield. He attended Jefferson State, UAB and Auburn University. Jeff was the oldest son of Leonard and Kathy Bass and brother of David. They survive him as does his grandfather, Leonard Bass Sr. Jeff was a servant to people of all ages and especially enjoyed solving computer and technology problems for others. He was actively involved in ministry at both Hunter Street Baptist Church and Shades Crest Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Shades Crest Baptist Church, 452 Park Avenue, Hoover, from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, December 11th. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Ministers from both congregations will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
