Jeanette Bishop

of Alabaster, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2005, at the age of 74. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was a friend to many. Mrs. Bishop was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Alabaster and was preceded in death by a son, Larry Bishop. She is survived by her husband, Harold H. Bishop of Alabaster; a son, Gary H. Bishop (Linda) of Alabaster; seven grandchildren, Sarah, Alison, Mathew, Jennifer and Mark Bishop, Leah Chambers and Crystal Lanzi; four great grandchildren, Katelyn, Michele, Matthew and Luke; one brother, Loyce Meeks (Edna) of Alabaster; two sisters, Lousie Naish of Alabaster and Floyce Bozeman of Biloxi, MS; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 12, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral service will be on Monday, June 13, 2005, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Winston McNeil officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
