Jane Hurst

Jane Weeks Hurst of Birmingham, AL passed away peacefully on Friday, November 13, 2015. She graduated from Ensley High School and was a retired real estate agent. She was a lifelong Christian, friend of many and loved by all that knew her. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin & Lillian Buckner, brother, Alvin Buckner (Juanita), daughter, Janice Weeks Wray and grandson, Matthew Weeks. She is survived by her son, Alan (Cindi) Weeks, daughter, Karen (Barry) Saunders, sister, Claire (Elton) Ralston. Grandchildren, Jane Kathryn Evans (Matt), Jason Weeks (Bess), Louise Price (Bradford), Kyle Weeks (Greer) and six great- grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Nov. 19th at Mt. Brook Community Church, visitation will be before and after the service. A memorial fund has been established at Mt. Brook Community Church in Jane’s name, 3001 US-280, Mtn. Brook, AL 35243.
