James Windsor

James Alan Windsor, age 65, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on April 26,2023. Jim received Christ into his heart at a young age and his faith continued to strengthen throughout his life.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dr. James L. Windsor,his beloved sister, Donna Leah Copus, grandparents C.L and Agnes Olmstead and James H. and Maxine Windsor.

Jim is survived by his loving children, son,Adam (Katelyn) Windsor and daughter, Taylor Windsor; his precious grandchildren,Aaliyah, Orion and Ziyah Widick; mother Joyce Windsor, brother Brad (Jennifer) Windsor, sister Debbie(Billy) Strahan, brother in law, John Copus; several loving aunts and uncles,cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jim graduated from Midfield High School and UAB. He worked in the hospitality industry early on and was the Director of Web Marketing for the Greater Birmingham Convention and Visitors Bureau for 25 years. He was past President of the Birmingham Chapter of the American Marketing Association as well as past President of Birmingham Hospitality Association.

He never met a stranger and had an unmatched zest for life. He will be missed beyond measure and will remain in our hearts forever.
