James Weaver

of Bessemer, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2008, at the young age of 25. He was a member of the Sheet Metal local Union 48. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and spending time with his son, family and friends who will all miss him deeply. He is survived by his son, Colby Weaver; his father, James G. Weaver and wife Diane (mom); his mother, Leslie H. Sprague; sisters, Chelsea Sprague, Janice Hawkins, Cynthia Maddox and Kay "Sugar" Pate; grandparents, James and Amy Weaver, Sue and Comer Kerce, Helen Homes and Derrell and Vickie Holmes; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 16, 2008, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
