James Quinn

77, of Shannon passed away March 11, 2006. Mr. Quinn was a man who loved his family and enjoyed such pasttimes as traveling and fishing. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Mr. Quinn is survived by his wife of almost 56 years, Velma W. Quinn; 3 sons, Frank Quinn of Kimberly, James Quinn (Sherry) of Harpersville, and Jerry Quinn (Wendy) of Shannon; a daughter, Sue Sugg (Ed) of Helena; 7 granddaughters and 2 great grandsons; 2 brothers, Noah Quinn (Anna) of Fultondale and Robert Quinn (Daisy) of Locust Fork. The Family will receive friends at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover, Sunday, March 12, 2006 from 5:00 - 7:00. The funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel Monday at 1:00 with interment to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, Bro. Bill Thomason officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association. Currie-Jefferson directing.
