James Mccormick

of Hoover, AL passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the age of 60. He was born in McDonald, NC and attended Rowland High School. He graduated from North Carolina State University and the Duke Fuqua School of Business where he obtained his MBA. Jim retired from pharmaceutical sales after 35 years service.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Pamela Arthurs McCormick; two daughters, Lauren McLean and Mollie McCormick; his mother, Marguerite McCormick Morton and step-father, Edgar Morton; a sister, Cornelia Price; and brother David McCormick and wife Marcia; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 5 to 7 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in North Carolina at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Asbury Memorial Cemetery Fund c/o Mr. David Townsend, 201 N. Hines St., Rowland, NC 28383 or the Riverchase UMC Imagine Building Fund, 1953 Old Montgomery Hwy., Hoover, AL 35244.
