James Mays

Mr. James Noel Mays, age 72, of Fairfield, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012. He was retired from US Steel after 40 years of service. He was an officer in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Faye Mays; three daughters, Kim Sanders, Mary Fleming (Joseph), and Susan Norris (Randy); nine grandchildren, Patrick and Daniel Sanders, Sarah and Scott Fleming, Timothy, Abby, John Mark, Paul, and Matthew Norris; two sisters, Mary Weeks and Dvina Moore; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 25, 2012, from 12:30 until 2:00 PM with the service to begin at 2:00 PM in the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Randy Norris will be officiating. Interment will be in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
