James Iii

Mr. James "Jamie" Maxwell, III, of Helena, a loving servant of Christ passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012, at the age of 44. He was a 1986 graduate of Berry High School and then graduated from UAB, where he was a member of the ATO Fraternity. He was a licensed CPA and owned his own business, Maxwell and Associates, for 12 years. He was a devoted husband, father, son and friend. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Pelham and very active in the children's ministry. An avid hunter and outdoorsman, he loved football, especially Alabama Football. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Linda L. Maxwell, a son, Andrew Maxwell, a daughter, Ashlyn Maxwell, his parents, Jim and Aulene Maxwell, and many, many loving and caring friends and family. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 21, 2012, from 12-2 PM at First Baptist Church of Pelham. Funeral Services will be at 2 PM at the church with Dr. Mike Shaw officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Children's Ministry at First Baptist Church of Pelham.
